Incorporated in 1985, DOC is a small, privately held independent oil and gas company. We try to be nimble, efficient, and good at finding and producing oil.

The company has drilled over 250 wells in nearly every oil and gas producing state. Currently DOC produces over 80 wells, primarily in Northeastern Colorado. We have built and continue to operate gas-gathering systems.

We attempt to employ technological advancements, geologically and operationally, whenever such tools make economic sense. That includes 3-D seismic, routine use of PDC bits and mud motors, and horizontal and underbalanced drilling. Greater productive efficiencies are the goals in employing any new technology.

Our exploration methods stand on the shoulders of previous generations of oil-finders, and our exploration advantage is solidly tied to leading seismic technology supported by thorough subsurface work.

DOC funds the operations with internal cashflow and with a few select investors, whom have prospered in our relationship. Our premise is the investor must make money. Without the investor, DOC the operator will not exist.
